Active postnatal recovery

MamiFit® Postnatal recovery

6 weeks, 6 sessions of 60 minutes – for a strong pelvic floor and a gentle return to training. Your baby is welcome.

From 6–8 weeks after birth

Back to your strength – step by step

6 to 8 weeks after giving birth you can start your recovery course. We take enough time to look closely at your body, your pelvic floor and your muscles. The training is adapted to your needs and should be pain-free.

Besides conditioning we focus on active strength training to gently rebuild your muscles – with exercises that really help you in everyday life with a baby.

A session lasts 60 minutes. We always plan enough time in case your baby cries or is hungry in between.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my baby?

Yes, of course. Just bring your baby along – in every class we plan enough time in case your baby cries or is hungry.

When can I start postnatal recovery?

After a natural birth usually 6 to 8 weeks later, after a C-section rather 8 to 10 weeks. If in doubt, ask your midwife or doctor – and us.

What if I miss a session?

No problem: you can make up missed sessions in another recovery course. Just let us know.

How do I pay?

After your reservation you receive an e-mail with your payment links: TWINT, card or Klarna. Alternatively you can pay cash on site. The course is recognised by Swiss health insurers (QualiCert) – you can use CSS coins, for example.

Does my health insurance pay?

MamiFit® is QualiCert certified. Many supplementary insurances contribute to the course fees – ask your insurer; we are happy to issue a confirmation.

What should I bring?

Comfortable sportswear, trainers or socks, something to drink – and everything your baby needs. Mats and equipment are on site.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Your confirmation e-mail contains a link to cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the course starts. After that, please write to us – we will find a solution.

Secure your place

Our courses are deliberately small – reserve early to be sure you're in.
